Before his last position with Nashville-based Avondale Partners, LLC, where he served as a senior research analyst in that firm’s healthcare IT and pharmaceutical practice until recently, Greg T. Bolan built up a significant level of experience doing the same for other firms. For example, he spent considerable time in the Nashville office of Sterne Agee, where he focused primarily on pharmaceutical companies and was recognized quite often for his abilities. For example, Starmine chose Greg T. Bolan as a “Number 1 Stock Picker” for Life Science Tools & Services in 2014 and, a few years earlier, he was chosen as a “Best Up & Comer” in the All-American Research Team Survey published by Institutional Investor.
While at Sterne Agee, Greg T. Bolan helped build an extremely skilled and knowledgeable team of healthcare analysts to examine such sub-sectors as Specialty Pharma, Managed Care and Medical Devices & Diagnostics. Even before Sterne Agee, Greg Bolan had experience in the same area. He was a Director of Healthcare Equity Research for the Nashville office of Wells Fargo Securities for a while and he also served as a Senior Associate of Healthcare Equity Research with Jefferies & Company in Nashville and as a healthcare associate at FNY GMG Capital in New York City.
